Chilham Park Estate commands the village green of one of England's most perfectly preserved medieval villages, just six miles from Canterbury Cathedral. The Jacobean manor house, built in 1616, overlooks 25 acres of gardens designed by Capability Brown, with sweeping lawns, a sunken rose garden and centuries-old yew topiary providing a theatrical backdrop at every turn.
