Plas Bryn is a whitewashed Welsh longhouse dating to the 17th century, perched above Llangorse Lake on the northern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The property has been lovingly restored by its owners — a former theatre set designer and a ceramicist — resulting in interiors of unusual warmth and individuality, with hand-dyed linens, bespoke joinery and work by local Welsh artists throughout. Weddings here are deliberately small and intentional: the lawned terrace seats 80 for a ceremony with the Black Mountains as a backdrop, while the oak-roofed dining room accommodates 60 for supper. Accommodation for 18 in the main house and stable conversion is included.
